Within the Easyway II Project (2010-2012) the two Supporting Deployment Guidlines related to harmonization of digital messaging- Mare Nostrum have been amended and modified. This work has been done in the Expert and Study Group ESG4.
ESG-4 has established important milestones through the delivery of important documents (notably the so-called Working Book and the ESG-4 Guidelines, dealing specifically with up to 47 road/traffic situations) which do not fail to acknowledge already existing message types and specific road situations. Progress has been possible also through the implementation of quasi-objective harmonisation procedures (e.g. empirical tests) with the main stakeholders involved.
